It was 1963 when the idea of establishing a catering unit was born, in the center of Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County, in the embrace of big cities, in the middle of a 460-hectare nature reserve forest. Perhaps it is not an exaggeration to say that our restaurant was the gastronomic citadel of the 80s. The homely flavors, the guest-centric staff, the restaurant and then the hotel that satisfies all needs have seduced and continue to seduce the guests to this day. All this is coupled with the family atmosphere that the Krivács family created in the early 2000s, and since then they have been striving for quality hospitality every day.

 

The building has undergone several reconstructions and expansions compared to its original state. From 2004, it developed into not only a restaurant, but a 21-room hotel, which initially operated as a guesthouse. Its appeal grew further with the constantly expanding services. In 2010, the new section of the hotel, the Wellness Island, was built, which has an external and internal guest space surrounded by a Mediterranean-style garden. 

The Panorama event hall was built in 2019, which can accommodate 200 people. Its equipment makes it possible to organize not only family events, but also corporate events and conferences. The Panorama event hall was designed to fit into the environment, the inner side of the building, facing the garden, is completely glazed, which provides a beautiful panorama for the guests celebrating in the hall.

 

In 2020, a major renovation took place, during which the building's facade, restaurant and terrace, hotel reception and hotel rooms were given a "grand hotel" design, but above all, it retained the family atmosphere, guest-centered and quality hospitality. The thousands of guests who have visited here over the past 30 years can serve as a reference, bringing with them the good reputation of Fenyves, the treasure, the image of the Máriapócsi Basilica, the Gothic architecture, the nobility of Nyírbátor, the golden admiration of its Baroque altar, and the kindness and hospitality of the people of Szabolcs - Satu Mare - Bereg - Nyírség who welcomed and guided them.
